Bored? Take a tour around Coyoacán...

Have no idea if this has ever happened to you... but definitively something that occurs to me pretty often is getting away from home; either go having lunch with my friends or having a drink, then going to the cinema or somewhere else, but always ending up at the same place we chill in. This is certainly my everyday routine in which personally I do not enjoy anymore going out because of how bored I get of attending the same areas I usually go to. However, today I decided to go over to Coyoacán; one of my favorite areas where you can take a look around without the need of crossing the entire city.

Coyoacán simply has everything; from restaurants, great desserts, cinemas, handicraft bazaars, to shops which will offer you services such as tattooing or piercing. The environment its pleasant and more if you decide to go over during the week-end. Of course, there will be numerous people in comparison to the rest of the week, though worthy in order to walk around and even sightsee popular Mexican buildings or culture.

  • Being hungry, I decided to go have dinner at Los Danzantes; a restaurant located in the center of Coyoacán, filled with a Mexican pre-Hispanic menu. Expensive compared to other food corners but highly recommended, a great way of approaching Mexican culture with a classic but extraordinary dish.

  • Up to now, my favorite dish; Duck breast covered in Mole Miahuateco. ¡If you have the chance to order it, do it, believe you will not regret it!

  • My outfit of the day; a see trough white lace t-shirt dress, an oversized black sweater with silver hoops located at among the arms, small black cross-bag joined by a small kiwi bag charm, zebra patterned socks and a pair of black lace up military boots with silver details in the middle front.

¡Keep track of my posts so you miss none! My social media; located at the principal menu or at the bottom of my blog.
